Based in Great Falls, Montana, Stephanie Erdmann is a self-taught watercolor artist known for capturing the softer, more reflective side nature. Her work often portrays the sport of flyfishing, and the quiet inspiration found along rivers. Drawing from her outdoor adventures—fishing and exploring—she uses layered, transparent washes to convey the vibrancy, emotion, and connection she experiences in the natural world.
Stephanie was exposed to watercolor early on through her mother, a secondary art teacher, laying the foundation for her later exploration of the medium. Stephanie is an active member of the Montana Watercolor Society and the Art Association of Montana, serves on the board of the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art, and is a former member of the Duluth Art Institute.
